Businesses and individuals from North West communities are what make our business successful. Here at Martyr Training Services we believe in giving back to those communities.

In line with our business growth over the last few years, we proudly sponsored sports clubs, community events and employer awards. Knowing that we can help a child or an adult achieve their goals is what drives our team to succeed every day. See some of our past sponsorships below.

  • T-Birds Hockey Club $3,000 – New uniforms means new achievements

In 2017, Mount Isa T-Birds Hockey Club took the field in their new uniforms. Women's team as well as all junior girls were the only ones to play in hockey dresses and not the usual skirt/shirt combination. The new uniforms definitely provided a confidence boost with Senior Men's first Grand Final win since 2002 and Senior Ladies finishing up third.

  • Wanderers Football Club $3,000 – Senior men shine bright

We are sponsoring this wonderful Senior Men's A Grade football club to purchase new uniforms. We have a commitment to sponsor them with $1,000 per year from 2017 to 2019. As always, we are hoping this will help the club with their needs.

  • Brother’s Football Club $1,000 – Junior league go for goals

In 2017, Junior Team U6s received the sponsorship which provided the little players with their much needed kit: jerseys, shorts, socks and insurance.

  • Normanton Football Club $1,000 – Team away for success

Normanton Football club was sponsored by Martyr Training Services in 2017. Our sponsorship helped Club's going away team to get new shirts for their games.

  • Cloncurry 150 $1,000 – Birthday present for a great community

  • Barkly School $3,360 (in kind) – Who does not like Mardi Gras?

At Martyr Training Services, we love everything rodeo. The winner of Ladies Barrel Race Jaimi Downing was presented with the Martyr buckle in Cloncurry rodeo.

  • Camooweal Campdraft $1,000 – Supporting the champions

Just like rodeos, campdrafts are fun family friendly events which provide a well-deserved day out for the families. Therefore, it was not even a question whether we should sponsor Camooweal Campdraft. You should see the event for yourself.

  • Isa TaTas $1,000 – Mount Isa hockey team goes international

In 2017, Mount Isa Hockey, team with a very Australian name Tatas (yes, the waving lizards!) went away to New Zealand to participate in the International Masters Games. Go Tatas!
